STEP 1 Base for Drop Top is a fully transparent, self-leveling base that prepares the nail for the Water Drop effect.

It forms a smooth, even layer so that Water Drop applied on top can gradually break up into individual droplets. Without this base, the droplet effect will not form.

Application Protocol

Apply — Apply an even layer of Step 1 Base for Drop Top to the prepared nail.
Level — Let the product self-level.
Cure — Cure in the lamp for at least 60 seconds.
Water Drop — Apply your chosen Step 2 Water Drop shade and watch the droplets form. The full effect appears in about 40 seconds, but you can cure at any moment, as soon as you like the result.
